The Power of Expectation

In my last blog, I talked about the power of Small and continuing in that theme, I will be looking at the power of EXPECTATION.
I will arguably say, that a woman with child may possibly have a better understanding of this phrase in the context I am about to talk about. When a woman is pregnant , one of the ways of describing her  is usually with the phrase, ‘expectant mum’ or ‘expectant woman’. This amongst other things, describe the process the woman is undergoing from the time of the baby’s conception until birth.
One of the first things a pregnant woman determines is her expected date of delivery ( edd) . Her eyes and heart are set on when the baby will be born as she walks through the process and time of pregnancy.  What I would call ‘ eyes on the price from the start’.
The process will not be the same if the end is not in view.
This analogy is to explain the process we go through when we have a vision to accomplish something , or when there is a project to execute.  One of the keys to having a successful project is having the end in view before the project even starts. This determines what you aim to achieve, what the purpose of the project is.

Habakkuk 2:3 NKJV
For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.

Visions are  always time specific.  Every vision has an implementation period. A time when it speaks, I. e fulfillment period.  You have to have an expectation that your vision will manifest.
Expectations are so powerful and so important as they act as a driving force and also help keep you in check or in  line.
When you are expectant of something, you do not take every road. Jumping on every band wagon is Sometimes an indicator that there is no clear vision or direction. When you have a clear vision of direction, you do not engage in every route because you know that some routes will take you in the wrong direction, not every  door that looks open should be assessed , expectation keeps you off the wrong track and even when you take a wrong turn, you are quick to come out and readjust because it doesn’t align with were you are going or with what you are expecting.
Like the case of the pregnant woman mentioned earlier, expectation determines what you feed on and how you deal with side issues. The expectant mum eats not just for appetite but also for health reasons, ensuring the right kind of nutrition is consumed for the baby to grow right. What information are you feeding on. Are they the right kind of information, leading you in the direction you wish to go ? Or are you allowing yourself to be a junkyard where everything goes. Feed your vision with the right nutrition, stay in the right environment and at the appointed time, you will reap fruitfulness and prosperity.

Many blessings
